How to resolve "Your domain has multiple IP addresses associated" issue

If you encounter this issue, it means that your custom branded domain will not work because there are more than one DNS record for the domain.

This is usually because either:

  • The domain you configured is already in use for another website or service.

    For example, if you use in your ESP, you cannot also use as your custom branded domain.


  • You are re-using an existing domain and have not removed the records for its previous use.

    For example, if you move your URL shortening from to, but leave the entry, your custom branded domain on will not work on
